// about me

A bit about who I am

I'm a frontend developer with 7+ years of experience across both start-up and corporate environments, enhancing existing products and building new ones from the ground up.

Having graduated from university with a degree in Management and serving two mandatory years in the army, I took a course in web development, grew increasingly passionate about it, and have been working as a developer since 2017.

Outside of code, I'm into travel, new experiences, and football. I love spending time with my wife and newborn son and working towards our goals together with my wife — and I find a strange amount of joy watching my fish drift around while I work.

What colleagues say

Ashot has steadily shown progress and professional growth on the project and has always contributed to its success, showing his dedication and commitment. He gained a deep and detailed understanding of the complex logic system, which helped him take on more challenging and demanding tasks and improve overall product quality. This in turn benefited his own development and learning, as he was always eager to deal with non-trivial assignments. Ashot demonstrated flexibility and agility, shifting focus on changing priorities and working on multiple tasks, which highlighted his stress resistance, problem solving and time management. He was always ready to take ownership and put in extra effort to meet or even exceed expectations from the team and customer. He actively participated in all Scrum ceremonies — clearly reporting status and outlining impediments at daily stand-ups, providing input and estimations at backlog refinement, sharing ideas at retrospectives, and demoing implementations at sprint reviews. He was always easy to reach and assist when required, demonstrating his ability to work effectively in a team and share knowledge. This helped him build trustful and respectful relations with the team and customer and prove his professionalism and reliability. I'm sure Ashot is ready to take the next step in his career.

I work with Ashot every day and I see his professional progression and development. I look forward to working with him in the future because he is always helpful, hard-working and friendly. I'd recommend him for a more challenging task or role because he is very professional, responsible and purposeful — he always reaches his plans and goals.

Ashot is a great team member. I worked with him on the same project and team — he's an excellent developer who is not afraid of difficult tasks and is very involved in the project, participating in weekly meetings with the PO, PBR, sprint planning, retro and sprint review sessions. He mastered his skills by successfully completing various assignments even when he was initially unfamiliar with the functionality. He's hard-working and responsible, and I think he has enough experience and skills for more challenging tasks and roles.
